Infernalis interview

Me:So when did you form Infernalis?

Heston: We formed Infernalis in early 2012, although we originally had the idea going in summer of 2011.

Me: What bands influence you the most.

Heston:  Pantera, Megadeth, Metallica and Slayer.

Me: Has there ever been an album that blew you away when you first heard it.

Heston: Oh yeah, it was Power Metal by Pantera. That album was killer, and it's a shame it didnt get the spotlight due to private distribution and what not. That album is easily up there with everything else thrash during the '88 time period.

Me:So lyrically what does your band focus on?

Heston:  Well, with our new single being set to be released late this spring called "One World Government", It hints it all. Im writing alot of lyrics about society and the government as it is today. Stuff that actually means something.

Me: How would you define your musicall style and do you ever think you will be able to tour?

Heston: As far as style, if it means genre, were probably Heavy/Thrash mix. But we're aiming for the late 80's early 90's sound. Were not some posers like you see on shirts in Hot Topic or anything like that. We're straight, to the core traditional Heavy Metal that everyone has learned to love. As far as touring goes, thats a little further on in the future to say anything for sure. But anything is possible. It all depends on the success on our single and upcoming EP and things like that. We've gotta build a fanbase at least locally before we can do anything big.

Heston is the guitarist and singer of the band

Same questions another band member zeeshan

1. Late 2011 to Early 2012
2. For the band it would be artists like the big four, Overkill, Pantera. For me it would be bands like Elvenking, Dragonforce, Iron Maiden, Alestorm, Helloween, Marilyn Manson, Dio, Avantasia, Edguy, Freedom Call, Journey, Ozzy
3.No. I have had songs though, Through the Fire and the Flames, which introduced me to a entirely new genre of metal
4. So far it has been on society, government, and politics,
5.Thrash/Heavy Metal. Most likely i will tour in the future with the band, but would most like spend my time in a power metal band someday

Ethan
1. November 2011
2. Van Halen, Rhapsody of Fire, Pantera
3. Van Halen- Best of both worlds
4. Effect
5.  I would define it as......something different than what you're used to hearing from the radio. And if we get big enough, sure we'll go on tour
